Celebration Time at the Flavours of Herriot Country Awards!
The 6th Year, the highest number of entries, and a round up of very worthy winners for our prestigious and highly respected Flavours of Herriot Country Awards.
We congratulate you all!
It was an event buzzing with excitement and anticipation, as more than 250 guests gathered together for the drinks reception, in the splendid setting of the Long Hall at The Garden Rooms, Tennants, at Leyburn, before being seated for the awards event in their magnificent Fountain Room.
Our team of independent and highly respected food and drink experts, headed by the Chair, Susie Brindley, had the hugely difficult job of choosing the winners from such very strong contenders, all showing commitment, dedication, and very high standards.
The final decisions were made, and the winners chosen, after the judges tasted their way across Richmondshire and Hambleton.
And the celebrations got underway. With great anticipation from our audience, and high emotion and lots of well deserved cheering and applause, as each winner was announced! Showing just how much these awards mean to each business.
A big thank you to our Principal Supporter, North Yorkshire County Council, the Main Sponsor, Hambleton County Council, and our Award Category sponsors, as well as a number of other generous sponsors.
